The Peacock Butterfly - inachis io - is 56-68mm in size and the main flight is from June onwards. Seen on the Great Orme Headland (Llandudno) in the Happy Valley gardens on the lower slopes. Resting on a Butterfly Bush (buddleia) a plant originally introduced from China.
