He was instrumental in Vancouver's urban planning that saw the preservation of sightlines from the heart of the skyscraper-dominated Downtown and West End outward to the remarkable natural vistas that make our city so special. This photo looks into the West End from Coal Harbor. It shows the preserved sightline along Nicola Street, which is not a major thoroughfare. Nice work Mike, the city has cleavage. The view down the seperation that draws the eye forward, entices and thrills. Sexy City.
