Day 081/365 4.9.2010 - Snowboarding on Grouse stock photo
Sometimes you just have to settle for a crummy camera phone pic. Gabby and I decided to do some night snowboarding on Grouse Mountain this evening so the only camera I had on me was the one on my Blackberry. I shot this one with coming up the Screaming Eagle chair lift after going down The Cut. The lights in the background are from the city of Vancouver. To get a better idea of the context you can check out this picture from the top of the run. We had a blast even though the entire mountain was essentially a sheet of solid ice with a dusting of snow on top. I assume it was nice and soft just before sunset at which point the temp dropped below freezing and shazam! ice. Dont forget to view my entire Project 365 set on a black background at Flickriver
